"Tara Mantra" Ring in Sterling Silver

The beautiful "Tara Mantra" ring is hand-engraved on the inside of the band with the mantra of Tara: "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha."

In Tibetan Buddhism, "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha" is an ancient mantra related to Tara, the “Mother of all Buddhas.” Tara is a Bodhisattva of compassion and action, a protector who comes to our aid to relieve us of physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering.

For nearly 20 years jeweler Simon Day received training in traditional Tibetan Buddhist art and aesthetics from his teacher and several other Tibetan Buddhist teachers for whom he made special pieces. Since 1997 he has been making jewelry for Buddhists around the world.
