This photo of His Holiness was taken at the conclusion of his 2020 visit to Geneva following a trip to the US. As Olivier says, \"I was staying with him in his hotel room and took the opportunity to ask him for a personal portrait, looking directly in my direction, and that’s it, a very special gift.\"\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOlivier Adam was trained as a physicist and gradually turned to photography. He now works as a freelance photographer and teaches in Paris at the Auguste Renoir School of Photography. He collaborated with Sofia Stril-Rever, Matthieu Ricard, and Manuel Bauer on the creation of the book: Kalachakra: A Mandala for Peace, and is a regular contributor to English and French language magazines.
