"Breathe smile" print - Thich Nhat Hanh

Breathing in,
I know that anger is here.
Breathing out,
I know that anger is me.
Breathing in,
I know that anger is unpleasant.
Breathing out,
I know this feeling will pass - Thich Nhat Hanh

“Breathe smile” is one of a series of original calligraphies Thich Nhat Hanh gave to the Lion’s Roar Foundation during his interview with deputy editor Andrea Miller at his “Transformation and Healing: The Art of Suffering” retreat in New York. Created from a place of mindful breathing, sitting, compassion, and love, it is offered here in print form for you to contemplate and enjoy as a reminder of Thay’s wisdom.
